Another concert, another amazing night!

Last night was the concert we have been waiting since March to go to.  I have even had the tickets since then, and trust me, even though this year has been flying by, it has been a LONG time in getting here, but well worth the wait.

One of my hunny's favorite singers is Phil Collins, so when we heard that Genesis was going to be coming to San Jose, I knew what would be a perfect birthday gift for my hunny.

I know of Phil Collins and Genesis, but I am constantly saying "Oh, THEY sing that?" and wow, last night was an amazing display of just how many great songs they actually sing!  I'm hooked!  They performed many of their songs and some of Phil Collin's, as well, and let me tell you, I have never been to a show like that.  Actually, I realized that this was my first "Non-country" concert I'd been to, and there is quite a difference...from the start, even, there aren't cowboy hats, boots and wrangles in sight ANYwhere!  Weird!  LOL!

All I keep saying is "WOW!".  My hunny enjoyed the show immensely, and was kinda even speechless when I asked him what he thought of it.  Phil Collins and the drummer Chester Thompson "Brought it on" with an amazing drum spot that lasted at least ten minutes.  I gotta give it to them, the show was non-stop action.  I don't know how they all did it, just kept right on going without any breaks!  They literally ROCKED the joint!  I loved it!

Since I wasn't able to take any pictures (BOO!) I have added a YouTube link of one of my favorite songs that was sung!  Hope you enjoy!

Phil Collins has an amazing, unique voice. I like the songs he wrote for "Tarzan." They are actually on my IPod. I want to go see Brad Paisley someday. That would be fun for me.

I know this year seems to have been filled with concerts. Luckily many of them were fair concerts and only cost the price of admission! They've all been great, though! =-)

Chelle:
He really does have a great voice...love all the music he's done for Disney.
Brad Paisely puts on a GREAT concert. We got to go see him last year with Sarah Evans and Josh Turner...4th row seats even! WHOA! If you get the chance to go see him, don't pass it up, he's well worth it! =-)
