The prompt this week for Sunday Scribblings is "Wings". How fun is that. I had so many thoughts come to mind, but this little poem made itself known above all the other thoughts, so I had to bring it to life!
WINGS
Kat Mosher – 4/30/2007
Mighty Dragons soaring on high,
Dainty Fairies fluttering by.
An Eagle’s beauty and strength unfurled,
Unseen angels surrounding the world.
Children’s arms flapping up and down,
Airplane rides the world around.
Some are soft and light like a feather,
Others tough, strong like leather.
Some have veins seen through veils
Others are shiny from all their scales.
The possibilities limitless in one’s dreams
What would you do with the treasure of wings?

You're so talented, Kat. I love your poems.
I used to be able to write poems very easily in highschool and then it seems that talent just disappeared....I can't seem to do it anymore...it's weird.
You write great stuff...keep it up!
Hi, Grace and Chelle!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
This is my God-given talent that I can not deny. I may not use it as often as I should, but I am grateful for it!
Take care!
Kat, Love your writing, I'm wishing now that I had kept up with technology so I could figure out how to do some of this mighty cool stuff....
